68-1/2" x 68-1/2" FULL MOON RISING QUILT

The quilt pattern was designed by Renée Nanneman to feature her new Full Moon fabric collection for Andover Fabrics. A collection of 20 different prints ... rich blacks with a bit of color, yummy grays, orange-red pumpkin colors and some yummy deep purples. Light and shadow prints with new moon and full moon images make this the perfect quilt for anyone who loves tradition with a twist. The easy-to-piece blocks made with half-square triangles are joined in a variation of a Trip Around the World setting. All the original fabrics are included in the kit, as well as binding.

The quilt is made with 144 Pinwheel blocks and 32 Broken Dishes blocks ... all measuring 4" x 4".
We used STAR SINGLES 2" finished half-square triangle papers to make sewing and accuracy a breeze. (purchase separately)

When the Full Moon rises through the gray mist of the darkness, the white orb moon illuminates the thin night clouds with tones of pale orange, deep red orange and amethyst purple. The twilight hours sparkle with black diamonds in the night sky, bits of color twinkling in the glow of the Full Moon. My Full Moon collection reflects all the rich colors you find only in the quiet of the night.
